Here’s another photo showing off the long shadows at Rosetta McLean Park. The tree casting those shadows is a really funky one. I’ve got another photo that’ll give you a better idea of what I’m talking about. I’ll post it another time.
Here’s another photo from Rosetta McLean Park. When I first came upon this little guy he was pretty skittish and ran off under some bushes. I didn’t think I’d get a photo of him, but his curiosity got the best of him and he came out to see what the heck I was doing. I think I snapped this photo as he was about to run up a tree.
Here’s a photo of the supports holding up the walls of , a huge film studio located down in the industrial lands. Sadly, it’s not been seeing much movie business since it was built. Our Mayor dumped a bunch of tax payer money into the project (), so it’s a bit disappointing to see it failing. On the other hand, Filmport should have seen it coming, based solely on all the bad decisions our local government seems to continually make. If supports or endorses something you’re doing, you should be very concerned. By the same token, it’s also disappointing to see our city failing, but we can fix that come the municipal election in 2010. I can’t wait!
I remember taking this photo hoping it would turn out as good as it looked for real. I like it, but there’s definitely an exposure problem. It seems my camera struggled to resolve the light and dark areas. On site you could see the streams of light coming down from the clouds. It was great.
This photo is from my rainday a while back. I stopped at a factory on Brimely Road near Ellesmere and snapped a bunch of photos. I only posted one so far, because I really didn’t think they were all that interesting. I like this one, though. Sort of looks like they’re all waiting in line for tickets to a concert or something.
August 28, 2009 – “We are very excited about our new ‘artistic impressions’. With a special technique we have developed, we can take any photograph and turn it into a work of art. This makes your picture truly a unique keepsake to cherish for years to come. We use techniques that resemble the styles of the masters ranging from watercolor, impressionist, oil or pastels, to name a few. This can by used on a favorite family photo or a landscape and would make a special gift for a bride and groom, friend or family member. Here are some samples from our latest creations.
