Just got in from another photography extravaganza with Mauro. We spend almost five hours walking the Bloor St. West area of Toronto. Got some nice shots, but the sky was really boring, unfortunately. This photo, however, is from a while back down at the Distillery District. Hope you like it.
Here’s another photo form Christmas morning at the beach. I posted one earlier of this very tree, but from a different angle. And it wasn’t in black and white, although this one has a smidgen of colour left. Anyway, hope you like it.
This was an art exhibit at one of the galleries Mauro and I stopped into last weekend. Basically, it’s two mirrors facing each other. Personally, I’m sorry, I don’t get it. They weren’t even spaced far enough apart for me to squeeze in there and adjust my hat. Or maybe that’s the whole point! 
Anyway, I snuck a quick photo and then cropped it to give it a bit of a funhouse mirrors flavour. If you like it, I’ll happily take credit, if not, then let’s blame the artist who put this “piece” together. Fair ’nuff? 
I don’t usually take photos of birds. I don’t have the camera for it. But this guy stayed still long enough for me to catch something I liked. It’s nothing like Tracy’s outstanding wildlife photos, but then again I don’t have a Nikon D300 or her years of experience and talent. So here’s the question du jour: Would you have cropped out the rope for a tighter shot, or left it in?
This is a photo of the Birchmound High School parking lot back before Christmas during Christmas break. Right now it’s about -20 C here in Toronto. Very very cold. But at least it’s sunny.
Hey Mauro, remember that tennis court tent we passed on our walk along King St. near the end of the day? Here’s a photo of it. Obviously I doctored it up a bit. Some might not like the effect, but I wanted something very grainy and rough looking. I also tweaked the colour to get something a bit different. Hope you like it. I’m very pleased, myself.
