Da street is dis long

Photo Artadmin22 July 2010

Clearly someone went to a lot of effort to paint or chalk draw this tape measure onto the sidewalk. I thought it was pretty neat and definitely photo worthy. I wish I had that sort of talent and patience.

The Lazy Photographer Bus

Photo Artadmin22 July 2010

I saw this in a local antique store on Queen St. in the Toronto beaches and really dug the lighting coming off the illuminated bus lamp.

Picture of a picture of a dress

Photo Artadmin21 July 2010

This photos comes from my visit to the big annual art show down at Nathan Phillips Square out front of Toronto City Hall. a week or so back with Mauro. We both took this shot, actually, but to be fair I like Mauro’s version better. I’m sure he’ll post a link to it on his flickr page. The colour version just doesn’t do it justice like the b & w. Hope you like it.

Red Dress

Photo Artadmin20 July 2010

It’s funny how much this girl stood out on Yonge St. in her red dress. She was actually standing outside of a bar having a smoke, the sight of which was enough to make me cringes with a shutter. Nothing more unattractive than seeing a lovely woman with a paper stick of toxic poisons smoldering from her lips. You can bet her breathe smells like an overflowing ashtray with some beer in it. Just disgusting. But when she turned around I was able to take a photo that would at least not gross me out every time I looked at it. :)
