No, this isn’t Alaska. From a distance it’s really hard to determine why this bridge even exists. A couple of miles up the road lead to the outskirts of Port Hope and the reason for the bridge becomes apparent. It’s near a small subdivision and crosses over train tracks. I really wanted to get a close up of it but couldn’t find a way to get near it. Anyway, in this photo it looks a bit out of place, but I think it works.
