Here’s a photo of a wee stuffed doggy that used to belong to my mom before she passed away. She had a bunch of them. They were her pets. Her favourite ended up in the casket to keep her company in heaven while this one ended up with me. That was five years ago. The photo of my folks beside it is from Christmas in the 1960s on O’Hara Ave in Toronto’s west end.
