Wild for Flowers

BackRoads-172-EDIT

I took this photo of wild flowers from atop the big hill I climbed to take some of my panoramic photos. This was about 2/3rds the way to Port Hope. Hope you like them.

CAMERA PURCHASE UPDATE: So I’ve emailed a wish list to two camera shops here in Toronto. Looks like I’ll have a new camera by the end of the week. I’ve decided to go with the Olympus E-620 with a Zuiko 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Mark II lens. The lens is a nice upgrade from the kit lens. But I’m going to stick with the 40-150mm f3.5-5.0 kit lens for the longer shots. I don’t use zoom enough to justify a high-end zoom. Plus, I simply can’t afford it. I’m choosing the E-620 because it’s the smallest DSLR on the market, and it has an articulating LCD display. I can’t tell you how often I’ve wished for an articulating display so I didn’t have to guess what I was shooting and if it was indeed in focus. I’ll let you know when I actually have the new toy.
